The steering rack's exposed rack rod needs a protective cover to keep dust, water, and mud away from the precision-ground surface and the oil seals. Our Steering Rack Boot does exactly that. It is a flexible rubber bellows that expands and contracts with the steering motion, yet remains tightly sealed at both ends. If this boot fails, contaminants enter the rack, causing wear, leaks, and eventually steering play – a safety hazard we help you avoid. We have designed and produced these boots for over 20 years, and they are now fitted to millions of vehicles worldwide.

Ozone-Resistant Chloroprene Rubber

We use chloroprene rubber that withstands ozone, oil, and temperature extremes from -40°C to +120°C. The boot has a smooth interior to prevent chafing against the rack, and its ribbed bellows provide the flexibility needed for full steering travel. Our Steering Rack Boot is molded with precision to ensure a tight fit on both the housing and the tie rod end. We test each batch for ozone cracking, tensile strength, and fatigue life. Monthly output exceeds 4 million pieces, and we can color-match or add logos upon request.

Standard Steering Rack Boot sizes are available for quick delivery within 30 working days. Custom designs (different lengths, diameters, or end-fit configurations) require new tooling and take 60-90 days. MOQ is RMB 50,000. We offer one free sample for existing designs (freight collect). Payment terms are 70% advance, 20% at port, 10% retention. We can also supply installation clips and lubricant if needed.
